My Handmade Dolly

Here is a doll I made using an old dress pattern from my husband's grandmother.  I always wanted to sew this dress but the pattern size was too small for me.  Making a doll with the vintage dress pattern is a great alternative for vintage sewing fans.  Now when I go thrift store shopping I look at vintage sewing patterns in a new light.

i want to start making dolls again, i have always loved the ones you make and the one you gave me has a special spot in my sewing room. althou the cats are not "dolls" they are fun and i am needle felting the facial details. the needle felting is fun and i do by hand...no interest in getting an embelishment machine
